After following horse racing in Australia for over 20 years and owning a number of racehorses (no Melbourne Cup winners yet!), I have decided to start this betting blog to provide commentary and analysis on how to win some cash on the gee gees in Australia. This blog is about winning cash, placing smart bets to make a profit. You will not read lots of hype about boom horses like Weekend Hustler and Light Fantastic as every newspaper is spruking these potential champions.

Fortunately. I had a winning day on Saturday backing GRANDILOQUENT at 33-1 at Canterbury, plus Bonelle each way in the last at Caulfield at 60-1. I also took the shorts CONISTON GEM and collected the Bank Interest in the first race, which provided a bank for the rest of the day.

The first punting lesson I follow is put your hard earned on the best jockeys and they invariably deliver. The jockeys which consistently deliver the goods in Victoria is Nash Rawiller, Craig Williams and Corey Brown. Follow these guys and you will make a profit most Saturdays.
