Just the 2 bets today and made a profit. As per my previous post I had $50 eachway on Hey Rosie to collect $300, a profit of $200, then lost $100 on Going Spending, so $100 profit for the day.Was too busy so did not watch the races. Always good to make a profit. Most people do not like betting each way in fields of 7 or less which only pay 2 dividends. However, the place dividend can often provide more than your money back, so I think its worth consideration when the field lacks depth and you don’t like one of the other favourites.

I also have a Bet Fair Account so I can lay favourites that I don’t think can win. if your patient and not greedy, the lay apporach with Bet Fair can be very profitable.

Now, its time to look for some future winners in Victoria
